You must go the Departamento Administartivo de Seguridad, DAS, in any Colombian city before your visa expires, Doesn´t matter if it expires in a weekend or national holiday,you must go before to avoid the fine, which can not be less than 230.000COP. (It can be more)

The local D.A.S office in Medellín is Located al Calle 19 80A-40 in Barrio Belén, office hours are 8-12 and 2-5 monday to friday. Phone:238-9252. From the hostal the only logical option is to take a taxi (about 6.000 COP), no metro and one hour away by bus. Belive us, take a taxi.

2 copies of the page where your entry stamp is.

2 copies of your flight ticket. (We have heard they accept reservations prints in some cases...good luck)

Minors older than 7 years old must go in person.

180 days per year is allowed as a tourist.

You will be completly fingerprinted, your 10 fingers, belive it or not, with black ink !!!
